What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

Hi Doctor, As usual I have gone through the routine blood test ON 4TH APRIL, 16. The results outside the Biological Reference shows as below; 1. Absolute Eiosinophil : 1.060 2. Neutrofil : 42 3. Lymphocyte : 41 4. Monocyte : 9 5. Eiosinophil : 8 6. SGOT : 37 7. SGPT : 56 Please advise above shows any abnormality? Thanks & Best Regards Narendra

Hi Mr.Narendra,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred from the blood test report you have furnished.
1. Differential count of White Blood Cells (WBCs) is indicating a decrease in Neutophil count and an increase in Lymphocyte count.
2. Liver enzyme SGOT is on the upper limits of normal range and SGPT is about 2 fold increased than normal.
Hence, from the report, it can be stated that there could a chronic infection associated with mild liver dysfunction.
Kindly get it evaluated by consulting Physician.
